- Unfollow the Page: By choosing to unfollow the page, you will no longer receive any updates from it in your news feed.
- Turn Off Updates: You can opt to continue following the page while turning off its updates. This means you won’t see any posts from the page in your feed. To view updates, you’ll need to visit the page directly.
- Snooze: The snooze option allows you to temporarily stop receiving updates from the page for 30 days. After this period, updates from the page will resume.

- Select the page you want to modify.
- Click the three dots icon ‘…’ next to the page name to open a menu of options.
- Choose ‘Follow Settings.’
- From here, you can select to turn off updates, snooze for 30 days, or unfollow the page.
How to Receive Notifications for Updates from Facebook Pages
It’s crucial to understand that the notifications discussed here are not push notifications that appear on your browser or mobile device.
Instead, these notifications appear within the Facebook interface, specifically in the notifications menu at the top bar of Facebook.
To set up notifications for updates from Facebook pages you like:
- Navigate to ‘Liked Pages.’
- Click on the three dots icon (located in the top right corner) next to the name of the page you’re interested in.
- Select ‘Follow Settings.’
